Be careful what you put into the universe.
It listens.
I know this because soon after I hit send on yesterday’s post I hit a pothole and have spent today getting a rim fixed ($) and two new tires put on my car ($$).
So.
Learn from my mistakes.
I enjoy stuffing, but only ever eat it at Thanksgiving. Why? I need to fix that mental block.
Circling back on this recipe I shared a bit ago. I finally made it last night. I added more pepper and parmesan because I do what I want. I ate many spoonfuls standing over the stove and then eventually moved onto a bowl. I couldn’t convince my family to try it. Their loss.
I defrosted a pound of ground beef yesterday without a plan. It might be goulash.
It might be meatloaf. It might become meatballs and go back into the freezer for later.
My children have decided they like the Aldi shells over Annie’s. It is hilarious to me that the only organic product we buy is fancy mac and cheese.
Maybe we’ll just do snacky dinner tonight. These crackers and a smoked gouda…that’s dinner, yes? Yes please.
Nothing sound good? Here’s your excuse to make buttered noodles:
You made it to Friday. You’re about to get a large raise and shiny, bouncy shampoo commercial hair. (Are you listening, universe?)
Remember, if you eat it at dinner time, it’s dinner.
You’re doing great.
Proud of you.
xoxo,
Shannon
